Leitrim County Council’s newly-established Local Community Development Committee has started work on a new six-year Local Economic and Community Plan for the County. Our Plan will be all about Leitrim people deciding Where we want to go as a County … How we’ll get there … and What help we’ll need to complete the journey.

Carole Coleman was guest of honour at the Carrick-on-Shannon 400 Wrap Event on Thursday 13th February last in the Bush Hotel.  The event was a thank you to all those who helped to make Carrick-on-Shannon 400 an amazing year for the town.     

The Honeycomb programme may be able to offer a range of assistance to you if you are a creative business using digital content for film and broadcast, animation, computer gameing, interactive or music technologies. 

Dromod has been selected as the Irish village entry in the European Entente Florale competition 2014. This is a great honour for the village. The nomination is done by the Dept. of Environment, Heritage and Local Government. Tralee is the town entry for Ireland in 2014.
